Steps For Selling Your Vero Beach Home

Keller WilliamsTake the anxiety of buying or selling a Vero Beach area home, how to sell at the optimum price and how to buy well:

If You Are Selling

First impressions by the Buyer are critical. Be sure that the entrance to the property is clean, the paint is flawless, the front door in excellent condition, landscaping is perfect. Ask me for reliable Vero handymen who can spruce up your entry way. Think about renting some plants to add color.

De- clutter the home, and put away all family and personal photos.

Clean and organize anywhere a Buyer may look - surfaces, closets, and cabinets. Be sure the kitchen and bathrooms are squeaky clean. The kitchen is key, so make sure it is spotless, that the kitchen surfaces are clean with all kitchen utensils removed such as dish washing liquid, sink brushes, pots and pans.

Leave all the lights on in the property, open the drapes or plantation shutters, let the sun shine in to welcome your potential Buyer.

Consider doing your own home inspection so that you can fix all the small items and be aware of any major issues that might come up from the Buyer's inspection such as roof leaks, mold issues and other deal breakers. It's best to have knowledge of problems before you put the property up for sale.

It is usually best to leave the property furnished, if you can, provided the furniture and accessories are in good condition. Have carpets cleaned. If you have to move out, fill in all the small holes in walls from picture hanging and re-paint.

Ask me about staging your home, ways to make it more attractive to a Buyer and I will do a personal consultation to make sure you ger the best price for your home.
